IT Helpdesk Support

Provide helpdesk support on a daily basis. Work technical problems and issues as reported by end users or as NOC analysts actively monitor alerts and create tickets that must be worked to resolution. Provide local onsite and remote support as needed. Position is on-call 24/7 with cell phone provided.  Hours typically are Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm, although occasional nights and weekends are required.

• Windows XP Professional, Windows 7
• Desktop Support
• Hardware Experience
• PC Imaging
• Perform network trouble-shooting to diagnose, isolate and resolve network problems
• Project management methodology and change management
• Tape Backup Procedures and Backup Exec
• Experience with Microsoft Office 2003 & higher
• Printer and Print Server Support
• Occasional travel between El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM

Desired Experience/Qualifications/Certifications:

• Experience with Windows Server 2003 & 2008
• Exposure to Exchange 2003/2007
• Experience using a Help Desk ticket tracking system
• Exposure to clinical system Best Practices and Regulatory Compliance standards
• Project management methodology and change management
• Certifications such as A+, N+ and Microsoft MCP
