Team Specialization

As with most types of healthcare, orthodontists rely on a support team to perform some routine tasks. These tasks require skilled professionals, under the supervision of an orthodontist, to ensure that they are performed correctly and with care. At Sun, we allow each team member to focus on a narrower set of duties and achieve a greater degree of expertise than would be possible in a traditional practice setting. With more support from team members, our orthodontists are able to focus on higher-level tasks that provide the greatest benefit to patients, such as diagnosing patients, overseeing orthodontic assistants, and performing those tasks reserved only for a doctor in strict accordance with state governing dental bodies. It's another example of how our innovative approach helps to ensure you receive the best care possible.
